Magnum Foundation just launched a new major series of richly illustrated biographies on the lives and work of celebrated Magnum photographers! The first title,
Eve Arnold, has landed on shelves - taking us behind Eve's lens with personal musings, contact sheets, and ephemera from her extensive archive.
The Magnum Legacy series will also be publishing biographies on Bruce Davidson, Inge Morath, and Josef Koudelka in the coming years.

The Legacy Program conducts archival assessments of photographers' estates, supports scholarly research, and collaborates with selected partners toward the development of projects related to the history of Magnum Photos, and the larger history of photography to which it has uniquely contributed.
Through its archives, exhibitions and publications, and educational programs, the Legacy Program serves as a vital resource for the international community of scholars and curators, as well as the general public interested in photography.
